"In the essence of life, unity is our strength".
We are a registered charity based in Springburn, with a diverse multicultural network that includes individuals from various backgrounds, ethnicities, faiths, and identities. Our focus is on promoting unity through all our community engagement initiatives, aiming to bring people together regardless of their differences. By fostering connections and encouraging open, respectful dialogue in a safe environment, we celebrate the rich cultural diversity and heritage that unites us.
Moreover, our efforts are centered on guiding individuals toward their areas of interest by first assessing their needs and skills. We believe that by promoting best practices and aligning with Community Learning and Development values, we can foster a stronger sense of community cohesion.
One of our primary goals is to tackle social marginalisation and loneliness by encouraging community members that resides locally and migrants facing social isolation to engage in activities, educational workshops, and accredited skill courses. These initiatives, developed in collaboration with educational institutions and other partners, aim to enhance the mental health and well-being of individuals and our service users. Additionally, they help build confidence, empowering participants to lead more fulfilling and productive lives.

🌞Our AGM Video🌞
We had an incredible time at yesterday’s Festival of Colours, Springburn’s very first celebration where colour and water came together in such a fun and vibrant way! A splash-filled experience it was, as we blend the spirit of the Holi Festival with the energy of Thailand’s Songkran Festival!
Huge thanks to our amazing volunteers for their time and effort in making the event a success. We’re also grateful to Glasgow City Council Area Partnership for the funding and to Springburn Auditorium CIC for providing the space. It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves! Based on all the positive feedback, we’re excited to announce this will now be an annual event, so stay tuned for next year!
Below is short video recap of yesterday’s event, filled with laughter, colour, and joy!

The kids had a brilliant time yesterday tidying up around Springburn Shopping Centre! They filled up 12 bags of rubbish and learned a lot about looking after our environment and taking pride in our community. Keeping #Springburn clean is something we can all do together. Huge thanks to our fantastic volunteers and our amazing kids for all their hard work! 💚🌞

Today’s kids’ community litter pick was fantastic! It was heartwarming to see young people showing care for the environment and the area they live in. Taking responsibility for keeping our local neighbourhood clean is something we all share. Teaching the younger generation about #environmentalcare and civic responsibility is vital. This grassroots initiative is all about raising awareness among youth. A huge thank you to everyone who took part and to our wonderful volunteers for their time and dedication! A true display of collective action! 🌞🧡

We visited Balloch Castle Country Park as part of our 2nd annual trip and enjoyed a picnic with stunning views. The day was filled with interactive family games, delicious culturally diverse dishes that everyone cooked and shared, and even a refreshing swim. We’re so happy everyone had such a fantastic time. Keep an eye out for our next post where we’ll be sharing some videos from the day! 🌞🫶🏽

Earlier today, our group had an amazing outing to Troon beach. We had a great time with various family fun activities and enjoyed a delightful multicultural meal prepared by our members. It was heartwarming to see people from diverse backgrounds come together in the spirit of unity and camaraderie, enjoying each other's company. This is exactly what the world needs right now: building friendships and creating lasting memories to cherish. We've compiled all our fun activities into this video. Special thanks to our wonderful driver, 'Old Michael' from #allandertravel 🌞❤🌍

Our "One World, Many Flavours" multicultural food tasting event was a fantastic success! Representatives from 15 different countries (Afghanistan, Belgium, Iran, Jordan, Kurdistan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Scotland, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Turkey and Ukraine) had the opportunity to share their unique cuisines and cultures.
The event beautifully highlighted the strength of unity and the joy of people from diverse backgrounds coming together in celebration of peace and diversity.
A heartfelt thank you to all the talented chefs who prepared such delicious dishes, the volunteers who offered their support and everyone who contributed to making this event so special. Stay tuned, as we'll be planning another event in the near future! 🌞
